3K a year 4 days ago 4 days ago 4 days ago The Human Resource Director is responsible for the management of all new hire paperwork and scheduling of pre-employment screens, and pre-employment tasks, assures all employee files meet all Federal and State guidelines, for the collection of all payroll information and assuring it is communicated to home office for payroll processing.
Essential Functions:
Human Resources:
Assists managers with all pre-employment paperwork to include pre-employment drug screening and criminal record check and conveys all pertinent information to Home Office.
Coordinates with Department Managers to recruit for open positions.
Ensures all new staff are provided with orientation material and assures all pre-employment paperwork is completely accurately.
Ensures accurate tracking of all new employment mandatory tasks to include licensure, NAR, BCI and reference checks.
Ensure all Employees are provided with benefit information in proper time frame and sends new applications to Home Office in timely manner.
Ensure Home Office is notified of all mandatory reporting issues.
Ensures Employee Folders are kept in an organized fashion and meet all Federal and State Guidelines.
Responsible for accurate and timely reporting of all injuries to the Home Office and assist Home Office with management of BWC claims.
Manage unemployment Claims.
Ensure Nurse Aide Registry is updated regularly.
Works with managers to ensure timely completion of evaluations and mandatory education tracking.
Other duties as assigned.
Payroll:
Collects, verifies, obtains final approval from Department Managers and submits all payroll corrections, vacations, and approvals to the Home Office.
Acts as liaison between Home Office and all employees assuring corrections to any payroll issues are corrected in a timely manner.
Responsible for attempting to resolve payroll issues in facility prior to contacting Home Office.
Responsible for having a working knowledge of payroll/scheduling and payroll software and acts as a resource to other managers and employees.

A special interest in working with long term residents and the elderly is preferred.
Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English.
Working knowledge of office machines, such as copiers, scanners, faxes, phone systems, etc.
General computer literacy and good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Google.
Must have excellent attention to detail.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
College degree preferred.
Experience:
Previous Human Resource, Payroll or Scheduling experience is preferred.
